Teach your child how to make their own maze -
here's how to make a Geometric Maze
or a Random Roxie Reversing Maze.

When the maze is finished, scan or photograph it,
and send a jpeg (with "maze" in the subject line)
to roxie@roxiemunro.com
Tell me the child's first name and the state where he or she lives,
and I'll put it up on this website on the
Kids Make Mazes page.

There are six mazes to print out,
solve and color (four from Mazeways: A to Z) -
M is for Mountain, S is for Ski Resort,
T is for Town, W is for Waterfall,
a maze adapted from
Wild West Trail Ride Maze,

and there's also a 3-goal maze.

Good maze websites:

http://www.amazeingart.com/maze-faqs/draw-mazes.html
(maze resources; how to make a maze, downloadable mazes)

http://gwydir.demon.co.uk/jo/maze/index.htm
(my favorite - history, particularly unicursal; and how to make a maze)

http://www.unmuseum.org/maze.htm
(mainly history and terminolgy)

http://www.crystalinks.com/labyrinths.html
(history, how to make a maze, modern applications)

There are five sets of bookmarks to print out:
EcoMazes, Dinosaurs, Western books, Maze books,
and a set of all four.

There are are 3 coloring pages from
Desert Days, Desert Nights.
