SCROLL DOWN for directions from almost everywhere by most means of transportation (except boat) -....

SUBWAY:

E  (easiest!). One stop from Lex and 53rd (direction: Queens; stop: Court Square/23rd St). Get on near back of train. Go up back staircase. You are on 21st St (Manhattan skyline in front of you). Make a right and walk two and a half blocks toward the 59th Street Bridge to 43-01 21st Street (there are a couple of big flower pots out front; it's across the street from Argo Envelopes). Go in front entrance, up stairs to 3rd floor and walk all the way around... my studio is highest number (340). OR, you could call me from the street and I can dash downstairs and meet you and we can take the short cut.

G to Court Square (From Brooklyn). Follow signs in the station for the E Train and go out the exit at the other end of the E Platform that says "21st Street/Ely Avenue." Follow directions above.

7 to 45th Road/Courthouse Square.  Go down the nearest staircase. You will be on 45th Road. Walk straight ahead one block until you get to 21st Street (toward the East River and Manhattan). Make a right and walk 5 blocks until you reach 43-01 21st Street - see above E directions...

N to Queensborough Plaza. Switch at Queensborough Plaza for the #7 Train going toward Manhattan. Take the 7 to 45th Road/Courthouse Square (one stop) and follow walking directions above.

F to 21st Street/Queensbridge. Upstairs, walk toward and under the 59th Street/Queensborough Bridge. Walk one block further (on 21st Street) until you reach 43-01 21st Street (see E train above for building entrance).

WALKING:

From Manhattan, enter on 60th between 1st and 2nd Aves; walk over 59th St/Queensborough Bridge (North side).  After arriving in Queens, go down ramp, make a U-turn and head toward Manhattan skyline (east) several blocks to 21st St. Take left on 21st and walk 2-3 blocks south to 43rd and 21st St. There are a couple of big flower pots out front; it's across the street from Argo Envelopes and has the Silver Deli on corner of bldg. Go in front entrance, up stairs to 3rd floor and walk all the way around... my studio is highest number (340). OR, you could call me from the street and I can dash downstairs and meet you and we can take the short cut. (Total walking time from 60th and 2nd: 35-45 minutes.)

TAXI:

Tell driver to take top roadway of 59th St/Queensborough Bridge. Stay to right. Take 1st right ramp off bridge. Swing around and at 1st light (end of ramp), you're on 21st. Take a left, 2 blocks to 43rd and 21st.  Building is on SE corner (with Silver Deli below).

CAR:

Go to Mapquest! It's basically right off the 59th St/Queensborough Bridge ramp (just south), next to Silvercup Movie Studios.

PARACHUTE or HELICOPTER:

Locate East River. Find 59th St/Queensborough Bridge. Look for the big Silver Cup Movie Studio sign at end of bridge.  Building is across the street from Silvercup. Land on roof (don't smash my skylight). Quickly call me (though I'll hear you) so I can run up the stairs and get you before the cops arrive.
